Privacy Policy

This policy describes how GoRated (“we,” “our”) handles information when you use our mobile app and related services. By using GoRated, you agree to this policy.

What we collect

• Location — when you allow it, to show nearby bathrooms and power map features.
• Email — when you create an account (e.g. email sign-in or account recovery).
• Reviews — ratings and optional text you submit about locations.
• Photos — images you choose to upload, processed per our moderation rules below.

How we use it

• App functionality — to run GoRated (accounts, map, scores, leaderboards, and features you use).
• Aggregate analytics — to understand usage trends in grouped form and improve the service, not to sell individual profiles.

Photo moderation

Photos you submit are reviewed before they appear publicly. Automated checks (e.g. safety screening) and human review may apply. Content that doesn’t meet our standards can be rejected and won’t be shown in the app.

Data deletion requests

To request deletion of your account and associated personal data, email support@gorated.app. We will handle verifiable requests consistent with applicable law.

Third parties

We use service providers that process data as needed to operate GoRated, including:

• Supabase — backend, auth, database, and storage.
• Google Maps — maps and location-related features.
• Google Vision — automated image analysis for moderation.
• Apple — Sign in with Apple and platform services on Apple devices.

Each provider has its own privacy policy; we share only what they need to provide their service to us.
